台青蕉樂團成立於2008年，組成的元素為「台灣」、「青年」、「香蕉」。創作基底從農村出發，為香蕉產業發聲，以對家鄉濃厚地情感入歌，為故鄉高雄旗山唱出一首首真摯流暢的搖滾歌曲。
台青蕉是台灣少有將農村產業與音樂做結合的樂團，初衷為推廣家鄉旗山的香蕉產業，在歌曲及現場演出中傳達對於土地的關懷、產業興衰的觀察及對於實踐的熱情，結合音樂人及農民的角色發展出極具特色的樂團取向，吸引更多人關注在地青年的聲音。
Youth Banana is a unique country-rock band and social enterprise based in Qishan, Kaohsiung—the historic "Banana Capital" of Taiwan. Formed by a group of local youth passionate about their roots, the band members are also farmers who use music as a medium to revitalize the banana industry and advocate for rural community development.
